On Day 3, Alice's class observed a student-run demonstration in which magnets were attached to the front and rear of a plastic toy car, and another magnet was used to move the car. Alice then prompted the class to discuss how the magnets caused the toy car to move.

In the video below, Carrianne suggests that magnets can make toy cars move because they have electricity in them. However, Greyson disagrees. He insists that magnets couldn't have electricity in them because magnets are metal, and since metal conduct electricity, any electricity in the magnets would be conducted right through them.
