The material and ideas within this website were developed by a team of researchers and teachers working in the San Diego Unified School District and The Green School of Baltimore, Maryland. The research team involved faculty, staff, and graduate students from San Diego State University, the University of Maryland at College Park, Tufts University, and Point Loma Nazarene University. The project was funded by the National Science Foundation for 3.5 years, and was extended to 4.5 years for work on this web site and several publications.
